          Pastor Curtis T. Schley

Pastor Curtis T. Schley anointed to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His grandmothers, Emma V. Schley and Maronia Lloyd, introduced him to Holiness at an early age.  But it was not until the age of eighteen that he gave himself fully to the Lord to be Lord and Saviour of his life.

He was a member of the Garden of Prayer World’s Prayer Center founded by the late Bishop and Mother E. J. Dabney with Dr. Harry Judge as his pastor.  In September 1983 Dr. Judge issued him his Minster’s License from the Church of God in Christ, Inc. Memphis TN.  In July 1986 he was the first Ordained Elder in the Pennsylvania Keystone Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ by Bishop George A. Williams.

In November 2001 the late General Secretary, of the Church of God in Christ Inc. Worldwide, Elder A. Z. Hall, appointed him to the Office of Regional Director.  Currently, Pastor Schley serves as the Executive Secretary of the Pennsylvania Keystone Jurisdiction, a member of the Executive Board, and was appointed Superintendent of the Headquarters District in January 2004.

In November 2005 he accepted the Pastorate call from the Lord and with his Pastors blessing, he began the Life Changing Word Church of God in Christ.  On Sunday January 7, 2007, Pastor Schley began Sunday School, Sunday morning service, Tuesday night “Family Matters – Because the Family Matters” Bible Study and Friday night Pastoral Teaching/Preaching services in his home.  On February 4, 2007 Sunday services we moved to the Abington, PA YMCA, then on February 18, 2009 services were moved to the Living Word Lutheran Church Campus in Roslyn, PA.

Pastor Schley is married to a loving and devoted wife, Patricia A. Schley; they have six children and four grandchildren.  He is a devoted husband, father and known to be a family man.  He is a man who loves God and is faithful to the work of the Ministry.

The scripture best fitting him personally is found in Psalm 62:5

“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”
